Sand is fickle, precarious, ephemeral by nature. It reminds us that everything is volatile as a breath of wind, and nothing remains identical to itself.

It is the harmony of a gesture – it is the trace that causes the first glimpse of 'enchantment'. Awe, wonder, these are the characteristic of this form of neo-Baroque artistic expression. It is an interplay of opposites, of contrasts: sand, despite its poorness, allows to create sumptuous, rich images that touch the strings of the soul…

During my live performances, I create live images, characters and environments using my hands as the paintbrush and sand as the colour. The sand thrown on the light plane, filmed by the camera and projected on a screen, while accompanied by music or words, leads the spectator into a world that is fantastic, figurative, narrative and informal at the same time. Different dimensions intertwine in an evocative and exciting exhibition.
